INSTRUCTIONS

Open WORDLE in a separate tab.

Enter a guess in WORDLE and hit ENTER.

Then come back to CHEATLE and enter the same guess, and mark each letter with the appropriate color that is shown in WORDLE. Hit the enter button to submit.

After each guess, CHEATLE will remove words from the dictionary that do not fit the criteria of your previous guess.

When there are less than 10 words left in the dictionary, they will be displayed below the game board in CHEATLE.

CHEATLE will also remove any word from the dictionary that has an I in the second position.

STRATEGY

Any strategy in CHEATLE should involve using the most commonly used letters FIRST.

I typically use PLANE as my first guess. This will either eliminate, or include several common letters.

My second guess is usually SHTIK which again, eliminates or includes several more letters that have not been used previously.

For my third guess I typically use CROWD which again doesn't repeat any letters from previous guesses, or BLUED which repeats the E from the first guess..

Usually, between these three guesses, I will have narrowed the list of available words to below 10, from which I select common American English words first . . . as more common American English words are more likely to be the solution.
